No-no cash but a whole lotta motivation

I really don't like to post no good news but-I have no good news to post. That is OK though because I know why I don't. Remember the last post how many days ago that I said I was going to make a Squidoo page? Didn't do it! How about updating my 2 niche blogs? Didn't do it! Submit an article? Nope-not one! Can I complain I have made no money niche blogging? Nope!

So what have I been doing?

Reading everyone elses success stories and how wonderful their blogs are doing and how much they are making. Are they really? Maybe-maybe not. I know I'm not because I waste so much time reading everyone elses stuff! OK, I will say I read one blog that blew my mind and whipped me into gear all over. In fact, it inspired this post and has me "burning the midnight oil" working to get my niche sites going! I even changed the name of this blog "to fit" just by reading 1 of his ideas. This guy is great and obviously doesn't like the spotlight. That is good-me neither. But I will email him to thank him for writing such an awesome post that really motivated the heck outta me. He also reminded me (not personally but...)to STOP reading everyone elses stuff!

So I am off to NOT read everyone elses success stories and make my own. I feel good things coming.

1 whole click but I am excited :)

I was just about to update this post with no earnings for Adsense again but I decided to log in and check my stats once more. Well, I got 1 whole click yesterday but it was a $2.09 click! Woo hoo! So I can report I did make some Adsense moola. How the heck do these people make thousands of dollars? What am I doing wrong here? Either way, it is something. I just gotta figure out how to make more at it.

As far as my niche blogs, I wrote a few more posts but honestly have not been into it. My adsense clicks believe it or not are not coming from my niche blogs but from my own personal site! Hmmm? I will keep up with my niche sites because I just can't give up but it does get you a little down when they make zero-zilch-squat. But I am no quiter so I will hang in there.

I have also discovered Squidoo and have decided to make my first page with one of my niches in mind. Lets see what happens. Apparently it only takes seconds to do. I have read many blogs by people who absolutely love it! I am off to give that one a try. I will update soon.

No-not making any money...yet

Wish I could report that my adsense earnings are moving but they are not. Today is December 6th and I have made zero this month with adsense. I have not made an affiliate sale either. I do know that I have not written that much content for the 2 niche blogs I have up. Maybe that is why?

I will be honest, I get online and I just start reading all these blogs and success stories and my mouth just drops and my mind starts going. There are so many ideas and I find myself reading more and more! By the time I am done reading, I spent the whole night online and got nothing accomplished! Time flies when you enjoy doing what you like and show interest in it. I only wish that interest would make me some money already!

This week I discovered Ehow and my husband and I are enjoying it. Ehow will be his little project. I don't think I can take on anymore! We will see how it goes. So far he is enjoying it. Now this is a guy who does not blog or go online for this kind of stuff. He always thought it all sounded too good to be true. Now since his work has been slow-he has been home doing surveys and Ehow articles. I ask him now-"is it still too good to be true?".
