An update on my blogging experience

So far so good. I will not lie. I work a lot-too much and by the time I get home, I find very little time to do anything. I am a mom so I need to be a mom when I get home. After things get settled, I am on the computer pretty much the rest of the night.

Just in the first week of joining The Niche Blogger, I have started 1 niche site. I read on the forums that people are doing well and doing 50+ sites in no time. I am afraid I have not been one of those people. They have determination! I do too but find there is not enough time in the day for me. Between work and my commute-the majority of the day is gone. I know-NO EXCUSE! Anyway, I started 1 niche site and took my main girlndebt blog off of Wordpress.com and I am now on my own. So I officially have my own site-pretty cool. Of course I did not know how to do this on my own until I read The Niche Blogger. I take that back-I kinda figured out how to do it but did it for a lot cheaper after I read the tips and tricks in The Niche Blogger.

Now that girlndebt is on it's own-I can write about my experiences and share info on there. I am so happy. First of all, a few weeks ago, I never even knew what a "niche blog" was and second-I would not think that I would be able to make my own "niche sites-websites, BLOGS" (whatever you want to call them).

I am learning all kinds of stuff. Not only with this program but I have also been doing a lot of online surveys and just started writing articles for Associated Content. Me? I am no writer, in fact I think I need to brush up on a few things. But I am a talker and I can put those words into good articles which can make me some $$$. (hopefully-lol)

It is somewhat empowering because these are things I am doing on my own. I am learning so much. I don't report to anyone and I choose my terms and get paid for it. It is definitely different than my JOB. I am gonna work really hard at this. I want to be able to do this full time. No more commute or BS office politics. The sky is the limit!
